전라남도 신안의 작은섬 장산도

여기서 낳고 자라서 결혼하고 7남매를 키워낸 억척이 믿음의 아줌마 최양자 권사.

1988년 나이 50에 단돈 만원과 옷 두벌만 가지고 주님이 가라시기에 무작정 장산도를 나와

수원에 아들집에 상경하면서 최양자 권사님의 사역은 시작되었습니다.

초등학문도 배우지 못하였기에 제대로 글을 읽지도 쓰지도 못하지만

주님앞에 부르심은 확실하고 주신 은사가 너무나 크기에 오직 순종하며

성령의 기름부으심의 사역을 하게되었습니다.

아들집에 올라는 왔지만 사역을 어디서 어떻게 해야 할지 몰라 새벽에

가까운 교회에 나가셨는데 예배후 뜬금없이 목사님께서 집회좀 인도해 달라는

요청을 하셨습니다. 조금도 주저함 없이 "예" 라고 했지만 그때부터 염려가 되는 것이었습니다.

교회에서 구역장 한번 안해본 여자가 집회인도라니....염려가 됐지만

서당개 3년이면 풍월을 읊는다고 목사님의 예배인도를 생각하며

사도신경하고, 대표기도시키고, 말씀주신는데로 읽고 전하기 시작했습니다.

그런데 예배가운데 모인 사람들 가운데 회개가 터지고, 방언을 하고,

병고침을 받는 놀라운 기적이 일어난것입니다.

이런 일이 몇일째 계속되니 이곳저곳에서 오라는 곳이 생겼습니다.

그래서 서울로 가서 이쪽 저쪽 가정을 돌아다니며 사역을 할때마다 방이며 거실이며

사람들이 가득모이게 되었고 여기서도 역시 기사와 이적이 나타나게 되었습니다.

이렇게 3여년 동안 떠돌이 사역하다가 1990년도에 나주에 있는 박미자 집사 집에서

사역을 하면서 본격적인 나주에서의 사역의 지경을 넓히게 되었습니다.

현 나주시 세지면 교산리 188지로 와서는 반듯한 건물 하나 없이 소를 기르던 곳에

임시 처소를 만들고 예배드리며 소청은 새로 꾸며 예배당 모양을 만들게 되었습니다.

지금의 이모습에 이르기까지는 전적인 하나님의 역사밖에 없었고,

세상의 모든것을 일절 거부하고 오직 예수님과 대화하면서

이 땅에 작은 예수가 되어 삶을 이루게 되었습니다.

서로 사랑합시다! 예수님 잘 믿고 천국 갑시다!

이 두마디에 원수와, 핍박하고 무시하고, 업신여기는 이들을 품고,

예수님의 나팔만 불게 되었습니다.

전라도의 토속적인 사투리와, 빠른 말, 알아듣기 힘들지만

성령님에 녹아나고, 원장님의 사랑에 녹아나는 곳이 바로 성좌산 기도원 입니다.
